Hand-bound, oval bath brush with soft horsehair that provides a pleasant massage to the skin during bathing. The horsehair is soft, yet firm enough to stimulate the skin, and can be used with soap for a thorough and pleasant wash.
The bath brush is made of certified beechwood and treated with linseed oil. After use, we recommend shaking off excess water and leaving the brush upright or hanging so that the wood can dry properly between uses.Since 1929, Blindes Arbejde has created quality craftsmanship, made by people with visual impairments. Traditional techniques are passed down from hand to hand – with respect for the craft and a sensory working method, where the sense of touch is central.
The craftsmanship spans brush binding, weaving, as well as basket and chair weaving. We work with natural materials – animal hair, straw, and wood for the brushes, paper cord, willow, and bamboo for weaving, and cotton, wool, and linen for weaving – selected with careful consideration for quality and durability.
Production takes place in several locations across the country, and all products are quality checked before they are prepared for sale.
