Hand-tied pastry brush with light horsehair and a small smiley face pattern that makes baking a little more fun. The horsehair holds liquid well and makes it easy to brush baked goods without unnecessary splattering. The pastry brush is 17 cm long.
The horsehair can be cleaned in warm soapy water. Let the wood dry thoroughly between uses, and optionally place a loose elastic band around the bristles while drying so they stay together for next time.
Since 1929, Blindes Arbejde has created quality craftsmanship, made by people with visual impairments. Traditional techniques are passed down from hand to hand – with respect for the craft and a sensory working method, where the sense of touch is central.
The craftsmanship spans brush binding, weaving, as well as basket and chair weaving. We work with natural materials – animal hair, straw, and wood for the brushes, paper cord, willow, and bamboo for weaving, and cotton, wool, and linen for weaving – selected with careful consideration for quality and durability.
Production takes place in several locations across the country, and all products are quality checked before they are prepared for sale.
