Dishwashing Brush – Smiley
Dishwashing Brush – Smiley
A hand-bound dish brush with the characteristic smiley pattern in the bristles.
The 25 cm long handle is made of certified beechwood and treated with pure linseed oil, which protects the wood and gives it a darker glow.
The dish brush is hand-bound at Blindes Arbejde with veterinarian-checked horsehair and made with a focus on quality and long durability.
To extend the life of the dish brush, we recommend hanging it to dry after use so that the bristles do not get pressed flat. The dish brush should not be washed in the dishwasher.
Tangled bristles can be carefully straightened with a fork, while very greasy bristles can be rinsed with boiling water or soaked in soapy water.
Since 1929, Blindes Arbejde has created quality craftsmanship, made by people with visual impairments. Traditional techniques are passed down from hand to hand – with respect for the craft and a sensory working method, where the sense of touch is central.
The craftsmanship spans brush binding, weaving, as well as basket and chair weaving. We work with natural materials – animal hair, straw, and wood for the brushes, paper cord, willow, and bamboo for weaving, and cotton, wool, and linen for weaving – selected with careful consideration for quality and durability.
Production takes place in several locations across the country, and all products are quality checked before they are prepared for sale.
