Hand-drawn barn broom with strong Bahia plant fibers that combine stiffness and flexibility and are suitable for effective sweeping both indoors and outdoors. The barn broom is 52 cm wide and equipped with a bolt that provides extra stability between the broom head and the handle.
The barn broom is made of certified beechwood and durable natural fibers. Handle not included and must be purchased separately. The broom head fits our broom handles measuring 150 and 170 cm.
Since 1929, Blindes Arbejde has created quality craftsmanship, made by people with visual impairments. Traditional techniques are passed down from hand to hand – with respect for the craft and a sensory working method, where the sense of touch is central.
The craftsmanship spans brush binding, weaving, as well as basket and chair weaving. We work with natural materials – animal hair, straw, and wood for the brushes, paper cord, willow, and bamboo for weaving, and cotton, wool, and linen for weaving – selected with careful consideration for quality and durability.
Production takes place in several locations across the country, and all products are quality checked before they are prepared for sale.
