Drawing table brush with horsehair
Drawing table brush with horsehair
Hand-drawn drafting brush made of certified sustainable beechwood with light horsehair. The horsehair is well suited for slightly larger particles and makes the drafting brush suitable for dusting drafting tables and other surfaces. The drafting brush measures 27.5 x 1.6 cm.
The drafting brush is made with veterinarian-checked horsehair. We recommend hanging the drafting brush up when it is not in use, so the hairs do not get pressed flat.
Since 1929, Blindes Arbejde has created quality craftsmanship, made by people with visual impairments. Traditional techniques are passed down from hand to hand – with respect for the craft and a sensory working method, where the sense of touch is central.
The craftsmanship spans brush binding, weaving, as well as basket and chair weaving. We work with natural materials – animal hair, straw, and wood for the brushes, paper cord, willow, and bamboo for weaving, and cotton, wool, and linen for weaving – selected with careful consideration for quality and durability.
Production takes place in several locations across the country, and all products are quality checked before they are prepared for sale.
